The Nokia N8 is the new handset from the Finnish phone giants and what we all want to know, is it good enough to rival the iPhone and the android based handsets. Looking at the phone you wouldn’t think it was anything special as it hasn’t got the look or the sleekness of the iPhone or the dependability of the HTC.It has the technology in it, things like a 12 mega pixel carl zeiss and according to Nokia the handset is allegedly created from a single piece of aluminium, which gives the device a slightly rugged feel and Nokia are planning to release it in five different colours.

An early test of the device though on a Russian mobile site suggest that the handset is disappointing to use with poor results from the camera, considering it has a 12 mega pixel camera and there is “little new” in the functionality over previous Symbian smartphones.
