| Tapestry is one of our oldest and richest art forms. The same principles of warp and weft used today are found depicted on Greek vases dating from the 4th Century BC. Indeed the Greeks are thought to have woven tapestries to cover the walls of the Parthenon. | |||||

Le Corbusier described tapestries as "the murals of our time", producing many designs for Tapestry, including one for UNESCO in 1956.
